Applied Materials Wins Intel's 2023 EPIC Distinguished Supplier Award for Supplier Diversity Excellence
Only six companies in Intel's global supply chain have received this award, including Applied Materials
June 22, 2023 - Applied Materials has received Intel's exclusive EPIC Program's Supplier Excellence Award for Supplier Diversity Excellence for 2023. The award recognizes the top-performing suppliers in Intel's supply chain who have consistently made significant contributions in the areas of quality refinement, corporate performance, collaboration and inclusion over the past year.Congratulations to Applied Materials on receiving Intel's highest supplier honor, the EPIC Outstanding Supplier Award," said Keyvan Esfarjani, Intel's Chief Global Operating Officer. The Intel EPIC Distinguished Supplier Award recognizes the highest achieving companies in Intel's global supply chain, as well as high-performing Intel supplier ecosystem programs that continue to achieve continuous refinement. Intel has thousands of suppliers worldwide, but only a few hundred have been selected for the EPIC Supplier Program. in 2023, only six companies in Intel's supply chain received the Intel Distinguished Supplier Award, which is considered to be the best of the best.
To be eligible for the Intel EPIC Distinguished Supplier Award, suppliers must exceed the highest expectations and meet ambitious performance goals while scoring at least 95 percent on a full-year performance assessment. Suppliers must also achieve a score of 90% or higher in the Continuous Refinement Program results and demonstrate amazing quality and business system performance.
