Microsoft updates the list of supported CPUs for Win11, with a wave of Intel and AMD chips added to support

Microsoft released the third feature update for Windows 11 22H2 at the end of May this year, codenamed Moment 3, version 22621.1778, which provides a number of new features and improvements aimed at users who meet the system's requirements. At the same time, Microsoft has quietly updated the list of processors supported in Windows 11 to include a number of new products from Intel, AMD and Qualcomm.
Microsoft last updated the list of supported processors in October last year, when it rolled out the Windows 11 21H2 feature update. While the system requirements for Windows 11 haven't changed much from 21H2 to 22H2, expecting currently unsupported hardware to suddenly appear on the supported list is impossible.
Among the new Intel processors added is the 6GHz Core i9-13900KS. other Intel Raptor Lake mobile processors such as the i5-1334U, 1335U, 1335UE, 13500HS and others have also been added. on the AMD side it is even more interesting with the addition of chips with 3D V-cache technology, these include the AM4 based platform Other AM4 chips include the Dragon 3 4100, Dragon 5 4500, 5500 and 5600, while for the AM5 platform there are the non-X versions of the Dragon 7 7700 and Dragon 5 7600. On the mobile side, there is the Rex 5 5625U and 5625C (Chromebook version), the Rex 3 5425U and more. A number of AMD 7000U series processors have also been added, some of which are the 7530U, 7440U and so on. Finally there are Qualcomm processors, with the addition of the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 and the Microsoft SQ3.
